Noise Disturbances                                                       Public Safety | Nuisance and Abatement

Process needed when calling in Noise Disturbances:

  1. Call Dispatch – (713) 221-6000
  2. Identify yourself as in the Airline Improvement District
  3. Ask to see a deputy as well as ask for the report to be coded “see reportee”. This enables the officer to hear the noise from your perspective. This will also override the default code in the dispatching system which otherwise will dispatch the deputy to drive by and listen for the disturbance from the patrol car.

Note - Harris County does not issue noise permits at this time. However, the City of Houston does issue noise permits and sometimes will inadvertently issue a permit for someone who lives in the county.
